This is the 206th episode of Kingdom Hearts, "Plans and Preparations".
In this, otherwise non-descript episode, Riku and King Mickey escape the Realm of Darkness after their first attempts to find Aqua end in disappointment. Even worse, Riku's Keyblade was effectively destroyed by the Heartless and King Mickey's was damaged. Upon returning to the Mysterious Tower, Riku, King Mickey, as well as Sora and his party learn of their upcoming assignments and get new equipment for their upcoming tasks.
One of the new pieces of equipment Sora gets is a Gummiphone, which will allow him to contact those in other worlds, including Ienzo, one of the former members of Organization XIII in Radiant Garden that's trying to figure out the data Riku got for Ansem the Wise at the end of KH3D, as well as Chip and Dale back at the Disney Castle. Riku and King Mickey, as we'll see later, also possess one of these communications devices.
Of note, there are NO action scenes in this episode, and it's the last of the seven episodes in the run-up to the real adventure of Kingdom Hearts 3, which begins with the next episode.
