This is the 123rd episode of Kingdom Hearts, "Steamboat Willie's World".
Sora and his party are in the Timeless River, a world based entirely on the 1928 Disney cartoon "Steamboat Willie", which was the very first cartoon ever made in which the characters talked. As a result, everything, including the characters, look just as if they were animated in the late 1920s and early 1930s, hence their different looks and this part of the adventure being in black and white.
This world is undoubtedly a tribute to Walt Disney, as was Disney Town from the first season (Birth by Sleep). This was also the first hint at time travel in the Kingdom Hearts series, something that is hinted at much further in KH3D (the fifth season of the series).
NOTE: Except for the logs at the end of the end credits, the contents of this video were originally uploaded by numerous users, such as LilAnimeGangsta, SafiSora, Dragonarh, and others who uploaded it from the DVD Cinematic Collection of KH2.
Kingdom Hearts was conceived and created by Tetsuya Nomura.
