SuperJet Spade | Kingdom Hearts - A Day in Agrabah (Super Mario 64 Style Cover) @SuperJet_Spade | Uploaded December 2022 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.

Alternate name for this cover: Mario Goes to Agrabah or Super Mario's Arabian Nights 64.
Capping off 2022 for my channel is a song made with samples from Super Mario 64, as if I were to make custom Mario 64 music using whatever tool is out there to do that. The percussion was interesting to figure out. To create this cover, I located a soundfont created by PablosCorner and Marc Reuppaire which had samples ripped from Super Mario 64 and its DS port, and then imported them into OpenMPT. I located the instruments I felt were appropriate to use, saved them to WAV, and then loaded them up in Furnace. As the N64 had no dedicated sound chip, music and sound were driven by some coprocessor thing, which can be programmed to handle MIDI or various tracked modules. So, I used 16 Generic PCM DACs set to 32006Hz at 16-bit stereo with linear interpolation. I don't know how high the polyphony goes in SM64 during gameplay, so this setup might be a little overkill.
