In celebration of the franchise's 20th anniversary (considering, YET AGAIN, how much it's been evolving since then), why not compile a reel of the first 2 Kingdom Hearts titles from both '02 and '05 - in terms of their post-start opening sequences. Also, despite my sworn, already-set-in-stone promise to avoid mentioning or otherwise showcasing any content based on and/or related to Disney (considering there are characters from that universe featured within - THAT IS, BEFORE THEY ACQUIRED LUCASFILM, MARVEL & FOX).... I'm making an honorable exception, BUT JUST THIS ONCE. Did I forget to mention there are characters from the Final Fantasy games that also appear within?
KINGDOM HEARTS (2002) - A host of shadowy, sinister creatures, THE HEARTLESS, have destroyed the Destiny Islands on which Sora dwells alongside his companions (Riku & Kairi)...that is, after taking a raft away from the islands and later discovering the Keyblade to fend off his adversaries, and later traveling to various universes based on & inspired by numerous Disney films - hence why Sora eventually teams up with Mickey, Goofy and Donald, of course. In terms of chronology, it takes place after Birth by Sleep and before Chain of Memories, despite partially overlapping with 358/2 Days.
KINGDOM HEARTS 2 (2005) - Taking place AFTER Chain of Memories & 358/2 Days, Sora and his comrades' endless wars against the Heartless AND Organization XIII continue, as he learns of another race of beings including Nobodies (those who have lost their hearts to darkness, of course)...and the plot shifts to HIS OWN NOBODY, Roxas.
Songs featured - "Simple and Clean" / "Sanctuary", aka "Passion" by Hikaru Utada (宇多田 ヒカル).

Taking a break from the usual shmups, Ive decided to dive once again into Katsuhiro Otomos graphic-novel-turned-anime-feature-phenomenon....in the form of a psychic adventure (menu command choice* / point-and-click) game!
This part starts up from the Old City highway Clown rumble & Army confrontation, all the way to Tetsuos rescue by his lackeys, leading up to his illusion phase.
English translation annotations are conveniently added throughout, given that the game contains Japanese text. (Note: prior to Danke & Pennywises fan-translated rom, I actually had up a playthrough of the game; some of the paraphrased translations will be inspired by what I had before, as well as theirs - NO plagiarism intended).
*Whenever certain menus pop up, drag your cursor onto each of them for hints on which commands to select!
