One of the simple principles in logical argumentation is the fact that it is pointless to debate an issue, if the two parties don't share the same foundational belief. Lots of people have offered to debate me over the years, but I have always seen it as a very prideful situation, that ultimately doesn't result in anything good. I am always open to discussing anything with anyone, but I will never waste my time getting into an actual moderated debate.
