There are false brethren who have tried to make Dispensational Theology into a radically pro-Jewish system of belief, that over looks the sins of the "Jewish" people. These same people try to teach that the nation of Israel is a great nation that has God's blessing upon it. But is this what true Dispensationalists believe? No, it is not. The "Christian Zionism" movement began in the 1600's when Oliver Cromwell allowed the Jews to return to England, so that the British people could help the Jews go back to the land of Israel. This was realized nearly 300 years later with the "Balfour Declaration". The Jews returning to their homeland will bring God's wrath and judgment on the whole world, but specifically on the nation of Israel. This event must happen before the 1,000 year Millennium can begin.
