The current "Christian Zionism" movement began in the 17th century under the system set up by Oliver Cromwell and the members of Parliament. This system desired to see the Jews sent back to the land of Israel, as a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Yet sometime over the next few hundred years, a new for of "Zionism" showed up where pastors in church buildings started teaching their congregants that it is a terrible sin to condemn the Jewish people in any way. This more modern "Zionist" movement has now caused the lost world to see the deception, where most professing Christians continue in ignorance about the wickedness of the Christ-rejecting nation of Israel. The truth is, that the book of Revelation doesn't portray the Jews as victims, but rather as the cause for the end times. Christians need to be careful to not deny the Lord Jesus Christ!
