Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, warned South Korea of a “horrible disaster” if Seoul sends more drones into its territory. The strongly worded message came after the South sent several unmanned drones and dropped anti-regime leaflets on Pyongyang, according to North Korean state media on October 12, 2024. Tensions between the two Koreas have escalated, particularly over the issue of “balloon” propaganda sent across their shared border.
