Tape was left running after prime time and got the entire newscast, then found its way to the mainland and a thrift store in Sacramento CA where I found it.

Highlights of the day were John Hinckley Jr hanging himself in prison, and WIlliam Holden dying.

This was recorded in Beta III speed, sound is a bit wobbly but I don't think that's the fault of my machine, I checked another Beta III tape right afterwards and the sound on that was much better.
