This is the most "complete" trip to KGHR Navajo Public Radio's transmitter site I've ever shared. If you're more interested in the technology than the scenery, jump to 10:15 for the transmitter tour by our legendary, "Rock Star" engineer, Dennis Gilliam.
Special thanks to Dennis. This has been a monumental undertaking and an often thankless job. It would have been impossible to have kept KGHR Navajo Public Radio on the air these past 10 years without Dennis. Thank you for all you have done to serve the Navajo people. And thank you for your friendship, all the laughs, implausible, but true stories and the occasional bottle of fine bourbon. We're looking forward to the next time we get to enjoy Navajo tacos with you and Marsha.
