Recently, Kevin Costner disclosed that he and Princess Diana were on the verge of a romantic on-screen relationship. The actor said that they may have collaborated on a follow-up to his 1992 film The Bodyguard, which starred Whitney Houston, during an interview on The Howard Stern Show. The movie was shelved and things became "ugly" with the royal family after her untimely death in 1997.
According to OK, Costner added, "It got kind of ugly." "When Diana passed away, approximately a year later, word got out that I was working with her to prep Bodyguard 2."
