Is anyone else angry with LotSs PTB????? I mean, you give me this WONDERFUL episode, with R/K goodness, Cara & Kahlan badassness as well as frenemies moments, Denna with her GORGEOUS hair down, Kahlans new dress, SISTER VERNA(!!!!!), Mrswith & DuChaillu and ruin EVERYTHING by killing off my fav MSith in THAT way? Killed by CARA, my 2nd fav, WITHOUT Richard around to forgive her????? Youd better bring back Jessica Marais sooner or later or I will HAUNT you :P
Ok, after threatening TPTB (jk) Im going to thank one, the writer of Resurrection & co-writer of Denna, Mike Sussman, for these two wonderful epis AND for actually writing more than kissing between Denna & Richards body (:P) in his first draft of Resurrection. My MSith deserves some lovin!!
Anyway, I needed to make a tribute to this amazing character. I made one after I read about her death in WFR & now I made one for her show!death.
Most of you will hate me, lol. It started as a character study & eneded up being shippy.... and the ships not R/K xD Sorry, but they looked SOOOOO great with the Rahl outfit & the white leather!!!
In the books shes just plain awesome & in the show she was until she killed Richards mother (xD), not her fault though. Anyway, I still loved her after that & seeing her back in s2 was great; I knew she was going to die in ep 8 (it was obvious), but I had hope for something more... good?
BUT I have to admit, that last line was said in THE perfect way. Kudos to Jessica Marais. I loved how she asked Zedd the fatal question, ironic, unsure, but hopeful *heart*
As for the style of the vid, its a bit visually messy. Youve got song + voiceovers from the show; quotes mostly from the books, B&W, sucky colored coloring & I dont remember overlays but there could be xD Oh, well... new style, I dont like it that much, hope you do :)

This is a pressie I made for Bekki in occasion of the Secret Santa exchange organized by the Jack & Sam thread at GateWorld Forum :)
She said shed like something angsty or crazy, but she didnt think the two could go together. So, here was my attempt at combining angsty craziness. BUT YouTube completely screwed the timing. The only way I could upload the vid in a way that was decent for the eyes was cutting off the first/angsty part, which, apparently, was corrupted. Luckily I sent Bekki the file on Megaupload so shell get the whole vid & not just the crazy part :) Sorry about this inconvenient.

This is something random Ive been wanting to do for a while. Ill make a full video to the whole song soon, but till then I think this could be some kind of a stand alone ;) Its not really a preview, just a teaser? An anticipation? A nothing?, lol.
Itll be my entry for the Art In Motion contest. Its not as good as most of the entries, but I thought Id try anyway. Ive never edited like this & also I combined two of my favorite things: this song & Dantes Inferno, which, for me, is the highest expression of ART. Pure Beauty.
[I would love to post the whole vid for the contest, but I wont continue it before Feb 20th (I need clips) & the contest ends Feb 21st & Im pretty sure I wont be able to finish it in less than 24hrs ;P ]

My entry for the 5th challenge of BOIT. Why this movie? I dont know. Do I like it? Well, it is a mix between Fantasy & Sci-Fi, theres Jim Caviezel looking quite nice and all... so, yeah. It was a good movie, quite the original storyline, even though some parts were a bit cliché, but I really enjoyed it.
I watched it on a night my computer was off-limit because it was in the same room with my parents who were serious-talking and I didnt want to interrupt... so I turned on the TV and found this. I usually dont watch single movies... Im more the TV show or long sagas type. But sometimes it can happen :)

I wanted to thank the judges again for letting me through the last round and since my last BOIT video was also a trailer, I tried to follow the suggestions and listen to the critics and tried to fix what seemed off last time.
I also added again subtitles because they were very much appreciated.
I hope it turned out realistic enough :) I did all the textures (but I cant take credit for the brushes and some bases I used... ) trying my hand again with Photoshop too and it was nice, but I guess it still looks like fanmade... oh well... I had fun. I love making trailers and new fandoms are always fun and challenging!

Youre all amazing and I really wanted to make a video for you all, but I thought itd be better to make everything more... interactive? I dont know... so well, I decided to host my first contest. Yay!
Why these two fandoms? Well, theyre my past & present, I started with Stargate and now Im mostly vidding Legend of the Seeker. They have been my two longest obsessions for the past few years and despite Ive also made videos with other fandoms and watch a lot of other shows, these two are the one characterizing my YouTube life.
Most of you are Legend of the Seeker fans and despite I havent been making Stargate videos in a while, this show has been my start. I have been watching Stargate fan vids since I was 11 and I love each and everyone of them.
So, well... now to the contest ;)
I understand this was not a typical contest video, but I suck with text videos sooo I decided to make a kind of tribute to show you all the amazingness that are this two fandoms. I didnt use effects, I just tried to match the music to the most epic characteristics: mosly battle scenes... space or sword fights, it doesnt matter. So much greatness.
Rules & more details:
1. ONLY Stargate and Legend of the Seeker videos are allowed. Spin-offs (Altantis & Universe) and movies are allowed.
2. Do NOT steal.
3. Have fun.
4. DEADLINE July 15th (ask and I will change it)
5. Itd be better if you submitted a max of 3 videos per each.
6. Old or new, as you see fit. Its up to you to choose which one you think its your best work.
7. Any type of video is allowed: trailers, vidlets, romance, peic, friendship, AU, crossovers... (ask before sumbitting a crossover, its better if I know the fandoms :))
8. Prizes, categories and winners will be decided on the number of entries.
9. Collabs are allowed. As long as you tell me which part/parts you made or you have permission to post it as a whole from the other vidder/vidders. In that case, should it win, all of the editors involved will be awarded.
If you have any doubts ask away! :)
Also, another reason Im making this joined contest is to spread awareness of both shows.
With SGU going off and such, projects for new SG.1 & Atlantis movies were stopped.
Tribune dropped Legend of the Seeker in March and without its major broadcaster, season 3 is likely not to happen.
If you watch either of them, check out the other, through DVDs, Hulu, on TV. Theyre two completely different genres, but sooooo similar! Epicness, awesome frienship, wonderful baddies, *cough*forbidden love*cough*, soundtracks that melt your heart, effects that blow you away, fun & talented cast... same guest stars on occasions ;) So... you will not be disappointed.

Storybrooke AU of Aurora & Mulan.
- With Emmas arrival in SB all the characters start to feel a little bit different, so when Dawn gets hold of Henrys book she starts reading of Auroras adventures with Mulan.
- She notices the similarities with the warrior and one of her friends Maggie so she decides to give her the book.
- In the meantime, they both start to remember flashes and stuff of their lives in FTL.
- Lots of angst.
Im sorry the book manips are so suckish, but I had to make them with Vegas, because I dont have Photoshop on this computer... just feel the love of the ladies and ignore the video, lol

Btw, Sleeping Warrior is kind of a cool name for a ship, so... yeah, friendship? Really? And make them become regulars in season 3. Because I love me some new ladies every week on my screen.
