So, after 3 years of YouTube & a couple of years of vidding I managed to make 1000 subbers :P Thank you sooooo much!! *hugs*
You're all amazing and I really wanted to make a video for you all, but I thought it'd be better to make everything more... interactive? I don't know... so well, I decided to host my first contest. Yay!
Why these two fandoms? Well, they're my past & present, I started with Stargate and now I'm mostly vidding Legend of the Seeker. They have been my two longest obsessions for the past few years and despite I've also made videos with other fandoms and watch a lot of other shows, these two are the one characterizing my YouTube life.
Most of you are Legend of the Seeker fans and despite I haven't been making Stargate videos in a while, this show has been my start. I have been watching Stargate fan vids since I was 11 and I love each and everyone of them.
So, well... now to the contest ;)
I understand this was not a typical "contest" video, but I suck with text videos sooo I decided to make a kind of tribute to show you all the amazingness that are this two fandoms. I didnt use effects, I just tried to match the music to the most epic characteristics: mosly battle scenes... space or sword fights, it doesn't matter. So much greatness.
Rules & more details:
1. ONLY Stargate and Legend of the Seeker videos are allowed. Spin-offs (Altantis & Universe) and movies are allowed.
2. Do NOT steal.
3. Have fun.
4. DEADLINE ----- July 15th ----- (ask and I will change it)
5. It'd be better if you submitted a max of 3 videos per each.
6. Old or new, as you see fit. It's up to you to choose which one you think it's your best work.
7. Any type of video is allowed: trailers, vidlets, romance, peic, friendship, AU, crossovers... (ask before sumbitting a crossover, it's better if I know the fandoms :))
8. Prizes, categories and winners will be decided on the number of entries.
9. Collabs are allowed. As long as you tell me which part/parts you made or you have permission to post it as a whole from the other vidder/vidders. In that case, should it win, all of the editors involved will be awarded.

Also, another reason I'm making this joined contest is to spread awareness of both shows.
With SGU going off and such, projects for new SG.1 & Atlantis movies were stopped.
Tribune dropped Legend of the Seeker in March and without its major broadcaster, season 3 is likely not to happen.
If you watch either of them, check out the other, through DVDs, Hulu, on TV. They're two completely different genres, but sooooo similar! Epicness, awesome frienship, wonderful baddies, *cough*forbidden love*cough*, soundtracks that melt your heart, effects that blow you away, fun & talented cast... same guest stars on occasions ;) So... you will not be disappointed.

Storybrooke AU of Aurora & Mulan.
- With Emmas arrival in SB all the characters start to feel a little bit different, so when Dawn gets hold of Henrys book she starts reading of Auroras adventures with Mulan.
- She notices the similarities with the warrior and one of her friends Maggie so she decides to give her the book.
- In the meantime, they both start to remember flashes and stuff of their lives in FTL.
- Lots of angst.
Im sorry the book manips are so suckish, but I had to make them with Vegas, because I dont have Photoshop on this computer... just feel the love of the ladies and ignore the video, lol

Btw, Sleeping Warrior is kind of a cool name for a ship, so... yeah, friendship? Really? And make them become regulars in season 3. Because I love me some new ladies every week on my screen.

For my Sanctuary subbers: I WILL NOT be finishing the Ashley/Helen vid anytime soon. Im too pissed by SyFys decision. MAYBE if we get some hint during the rest of the season or some sweet flashback, I might think of finishing it... otherwise its very unlikely. Sorry...

Amazing chemistry... after 5 years of Bones & almost 20 eps of Castle, I can almost say I like the Castle/Beckett couple better! Lets hope they hook up soon! =P

ahaha, we got magicians, peddlers, s&m chicks in red leather, moneyz all over, shiny things, spectacles, palaces, alchool, bets, drugs, SEX, music, fancy lights, jugglers, seers, cheaters, bets, games... Legend of the Seeker does NOT take place in the Midlands, nor in New Zealand: Yup. Its Las Vegas ;)
The video starts a bit sucky, gets better - a little - in the chorus & its got a lame ending, but this song was hell to find an ending for, lol.

I JUST got her addicted to Legend of the Seeker, shes one of my best SG buddies, we disagree on almost EVERY ship there is to ship AND she started reading the SoT books - which is awesome, lol.
Since she started watching the show, she kind of got obsessed with our lovely wizard, which is understanable, cuz hes awesome. So I tried to fit him in everytime I could, lol.
