We're going to breakdown the Obi Wan VS Padawan Anakin Skywalker fight scene from the Kenobi show. PLENTY of easter eggs in this collection of scenes and quite honestly some of the best Star Wars content I've seen to since the Clone Wars show & certainly some of the best LIVE ACTION content since Revenge of the Sith.
It's a fantastic scene that really shows the wedge being driven between a master & his apprentice, the resentment Anakin has for Kenobi, & why proving to Ben that, as Vader, he's surpassed Kenobi- why that's so important to Vader. But that's Kenobi's entire point. You'll always lose with this perspective, which is exactly what happens in the Kenobi show.
Even as Lord Vader in the Kenobi show, he's really still Anakin Skywalker- brash, impatient, impulsive, reckless, & sloppy. It's a fantastic wakeup call to Vader, which really puts "when I left you, I was but the learner now I am the master" into perspective.
When we see Vader fight Old Ben in Episode IV- he's cautious, less aggressive, and trying to show Ben that he's learned this lesson & because of that- he'll defeat him.
Really great stuff in this scene.
