Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker SPOILER REVIEW! Please be warned that there are MASSIVE SPOILERS COMING YOUR WAY!! Do not watch this video if you haven't seen the film.
Overall, this movie was probably the best movie they could have made with what they had to work with. Episode 8 screwed up so much that they had to spend an incredible amount of time fixing major errors that were in the previous installment.
That, of course, comes with a massive price- the film doesn't come close to reaching its fullest potential. There are so many issues with this film.
1) It's sloppy
2) The dialogue is terrible
3) It's predictable
4) Plot lines are dropped
5) Characters are underdeveloped YET AGAIN
6) The actions of characters don't always make sense
7) It's SUPER nostalgia heavy
What did #StarWarsTheRiseOfSkywalker do right? Well the CGI was incredible! The planets, the effects of the ships, the sounds, literally everything you were looking at was beautiful!
The lightsaber battle between #KyloRen and Rey was also amazing. I thought the flipping looked a little fake at times but for the most part- steller job!
Lastly, #DarthSidious looked amazing. Loved everything about his character here except how he loses. Did not like that part lol.
