Kena Bridge of Spirits garnered a lot of praise throughout September 2021, but it's time in the spotlight has already come and gone in the brief period since uploading this video. It's claim to fame was an art style and approach to animation that parallels that of a Pixar movie. Stripping away these gorgeous features though, reveals a game that struggles to distinguish itself through combat, exploration, or story-telling. Still, Kena is an enjoyable adventure, I just wish it could have executed its good ideas more often.
