RiME tells us the tale of a young boy who is coping with a traumatic event - the loss of his father. In this game, we guide the boy through his recovery and see how the five stages of grief play out. When we as humans are faced with a terrible event, we usually cope by going through stages of denial, anger, bargaining, and depression before reaching a point of acceptance. Psychology tells us this, and RiME demonstrates this process incredibly without one word of spoken dialogue. All of it is conveyed in character interactions, unnarrated cutscenes, and level design from both an aesthetic perspective and the puzzles. What I'm trying to say is that RiME is incredible!
