KAYAKING THROUGH ZOAR VALLEY // Scoby Dam to North Otto High Water

There are several sections to kayak on the Cattaraugus Creek. This video is from the Scoby Dam in Springville, NY to the North Otto Rd fishing access. It is usually a nice slow paddle with a few riffles. We went after a heavy rain with the water gauge reading above 5'. Those little riffles turned into class 1+ whitewater making the trip more of an adventure. This section features steep cliff faces and several water falls. It is a great paddle in recreational kayaks at normal levels.
