The Sawyer Mini Water Filters and Sawyer Squeeze Water Filters are my go to water filtration system. They are reliable, easy to use, and inexpensive. I did uncover one minor flaw that caused mine to leak on input (dirty) side of the filter. There is a white gasket or washer that tends to fall out or get stuck in the water bottle. Without the washer, the Sawyer Mini (Squeeze) will leak and possibly cross contaminate your clean water bottle. The simple fix is to use a standard garden hose washer and carry an extra one in your water filter pack.
