Continuing work on the Kearney & Trecker horizontal mill. Mostly cleaning and maintenance work to get the machine up and running. The machine was stored outside under a tarp for several years prior to me getting the machine and has some rust buildup. I use a variety of tools, chemicals and techniques to remove the rust and accumulated oil and grease staining.

Recipe for Bozo dogmeat evaporust.
for 1000ml water. Add 100g Citric acid. dissolve completely. Add 40g of washing soda (Sodium Carbonate) This will produce a reaction. After the reaction subsides add 50ml dish soap or Simple Green (Surfactant) as a wetting agent. You can find all these ingredients at Walmart. Look in the canning section for the Citric acid powder.
