EU High Representative Kaja Kallas said Germany’s response sends a very strong signal as European ministers discuss the latest security threats.
Speaking ahead of the Informal Meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers — Gymnich in Druids Glen, County Wicklow, Ireland, Kallas said Germany has already done a lot and that ministers will hear what more can be done together.
She said German colleagues were grateful that EU Member States are standing behind Germany.
Kallas stressed that this is the kind of unified European response needed in the face of growing threats.
