Jack Hutton | kai and grandpa play ODE TO JOY together! @jackhuttonrag | Uploaded December 2014 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
We had the most delightful early Christmas dinner in Toronto with daughter Sue Hutton and 7-year-old Kai as our hosts. The highlight was when we switched to another room with a Panasonic digital that I once played with the Rainbow Gardens Jazz Orchestra. Kai, who only turned 7 weeks earlier, has an astonishing ear for harmonic lines and kept me on my toes with Beethoven's ODE TO JOY. For the record, I did not touch a piano keyboard until I was 8, a whole year older. GRANDPA JACK (Also let the record show that Grandma Linda proudly videotaped this historical collaboration)
