Jack Hutton | ANISA COWAN talks about filming Jack Hutton and Friends Jack Hutton video @jackhuttonrag | Uploaded September 2015 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
Anisa Cowan is a 20-year-old student in the film program at the University of Windsor. Almost at the last moment, she accepted the challenge of filming the July 18th Jack Hutton and Friends concert at the Gravenhurst Opera House. Jack Hutton's hope was that Anisa could provide some video clips for Youtube. She went far beyond that, with the help of her older brother, Keldon, who videotaped the 2-hour concert from the rear. Anisa did close-ups from the front and also on stage, which she wove into a mini-documentary. It took her almost two months but she has created an instant jazz film classic that will be around for a long time. She is exceptionally modest in this 2-minute conversation, but we will probably be hearing her name in the future. She is now in England for a year of exposure to what is happening over there, and will return for a final year at the U of Windsor. Remember the name of this gifted young woman from Gravenhurst!
