In this video we will feature the World Wildlife Fund’s Food Waste Warriors program. This program brings food systems curriculum to K-12 schools and supports cafeteria food waste reduction through systems-level changes at the school, district, and state levels. We will be joined by SJ Schanwald, Circular Supply Chain and Policy Program Officer with the Food Waste Warriors program. SJ will share insights on why food systems programming in K-12 schools is effective and how their program impacts their partnering schools.
