Justice League wasn’t afraid of reimagining the villains from the comics, and a great example of this is Eclipso. In the comics Eclipso was God’s wrath, and symbolised the darkness within each of us, but Justice League dropped all of that in favour of a story about an ancient race of vengeful snake men.
