Batman’s greatest enemy has never been the Joker, or Two-Face, or Ra’s al Ghul, it’s doubt.
In the Batman: The Animated Series episode I Am The Night, Batman faces a true crisis of faith. After Commissioner Gordon is shot and Gotham’s darkness feels endless, Batman begins to wonder if he’s ever made a difference at all.
