Alexandre Desplat takes over from Michael Giacchino in scoring the latest Jurassic Park/World sequel, and while crafting an original score he also sparingly reprises John Williams' main theme. I compiled the tracks that reference Williams' music into a short suite for your listening enjoyment. There are excluded tracks such as "Team Gathered" where the opening notes of the theme seem to play, but are incomplete and don't feel like notable reprises of Williams' theme.
TRACKLIST:
0:00 - "Sailing Away"
2:04 - "Natural History Museum"
2:30 - "Zora and Loomis Chat"
3:00 - "Voyage"
3:16 - "Dino Spectacle"
I have no plans to see Jurassic World Rebirth after enduring whatever Dominion was meant to be, and I only took interest in hearing Desplat's score. So if Rebirth was a letdown, I hope you enjoy this suite instead. I will say the lack of Giacchino's Jurassic World themes suggests "Jurassic Park Rebirth" could be a better title, but given how far the series has fallen, the last thing we need is more references to the 1993 magic in a bottle.
I hope you enjoy! Feel free to comment, like and subscribe for more.
Music by Alexandre Desplat, featuring themes by John Williams
