Hey there! Time keeps on flying by, doesn't it?
While I'm at odds with how future uploads of this kinda thing should be done separately by-title or be compiled with each other to make for a more substantial video a piece, I'm thrilled to do my very first upload of something directly ripped from Laserdisc!
I collected a very small amount of Laserdiscs over the course of more than a decade but it was a rabbit hole revolving around watching parts of the original theatrical version of "The Lion King" on a VHS copy I own right now that lead me towards finally getting a player - maybe the most amount of expense I've ever done for the sake of one film. But while I have this thing, well...after I have enough money, I will get more Laserdiscs or LD-adjacent things that're compatible with my new get. The very first Laserdisc title I played after first setting this up happened to be this one and I'll have to check later if I set it correctly to Digital Stereo or not but that Dolby Surround logo...even now...VERY effective and clean sound, for sure. :D
We've been having heatwave after heatwave, but things seem to just about be calming down enough to do more now (either that or things we're able to do to combat the heat are finally paying off) so who knows what this means for more uploads here buuuuut hey, enjoy!
And yes, count this as a tip of the hat to the great actor Sam Neill, who sadly passed a few days ago. Certainly weird timing on my part to finally play a copy of "Jurassic Park" so soon before his death but he really was one of the great ones and it sucks he's gone as soon as he has. At least his films and legacy will live on.

Oh hey, guess it wasnt long until I posted again, eh?
Accidentally bumped into the source files for this and was surprised I hadnt done any uploads based on these so...hey! Its May, Corporation-Mandated Celebration of Huge IP Franchise Day was earlier this month...as good a time as any to share the continuity for the Network Premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Im aware that people have shared continuities to the original Star Wars movies specifically so I guess, high time for this stuff to be archived on the internet for the one mainline SW movie I know thats had a nice big Network Premiere on a major UK TV network...which I know isnt as impressive a thing now with stuff leaning more to streaming platforms than network TV but hey, traditions eh?
