2023-2024 Rotary International President GORDON McINALLY, a member of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry, Lothian, Scotland, joined Rotary when he was 26. He became a District Governor, then President of Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland, and then was a member of the RI Board of Directors. He pursued a career in dentistry and owned his own practice for more than 30 years in Edinburgh. President McInally has made it Rotary’s mission this year to “create hope in the world”. His initiatives were to continue Rotary’s support of the fight against Polio, to support women’s rights and equity, and to support Ukraine and its people. His main mission this year was advocacy for mental health awareness. He focused on providing access to lifesaving preventative care and treatment while also ending the stigma associated with asking for help.
