These bouncy Brush-tailed Bettongs have so much to celebrate!

Earlier this year, the Pilliga State Conservation Area (NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service) was declared feral predator-free when the last feral – a fox named Rambo – was finally removed. So, these little guys, along with a suite of other native species, can bound around the 5,800-hectare area free from the threat of predation by feral cats and foxes.

That’s something to party about!
