I seem to be getting a lot more comfortable with the final screen (Remember), which is great. Choking hard in False Kings' Tomb and small bits in other places, yet still ended up with a really good time. For the past two sessions, I've been failing Ascending Abduction a lot, which is surprising because it's not meant to be that hard. Sometimes though if you think too consciously about doing a jump, it screws with you hard and that was the case for the chimney jump a couple of times, despite being a really easy chimney.
Sub 11 is imminent, but honestly, I think I can get closer to sub 10 with more ease than I thought.

Pink screen at the end = cringe
Added a few more skips and lost like 2-3 seconds from mistakes. Im sure if someone grinded enough, a 2:1X could be very close to being possible, but it would be insanely hard to pull off.

Les goooo. I thought for sure when I didnt land on the top step, that I wasnt going to be able to get the WR, but I went fast enough and a small optimisation at 2:42 (doing a full right to land further left) helped. Obviously, this isnt perfect and I didnt do one of Heppys strats because it is much harder. My best before this was a 2:48.028 so I didnt just fluke this from my 2:50.

Back in the top 10 with a banger run!
Surprisingly no mistakes on pace past Sanctum, with the early game making up for it in all sorts of embarrassing ways. Most notably trying to optimise the transition into the second last screen of Castle and miserably underjumping it like 20 times and also bonking on the ceiling with the full left after entering the first house in Underburg (many many times).
This run is exactly what I was looking for time-wise, though there are a couple of unideal moments, especially the hesitation in Sanctum and not hitting the fully optimised short jump in Blue Ruin (aiming for the top of the stairs). I can only really imagine going for a sub 5:45 before it would personally feel impossible for me to PB further, so that would be the final goal.
Now I shall be attempting something rather crazy.
