Bad Main Babe run, may as well just skip it.
Okay New Babe+ run (epic chimney recovery and very close catch).
Awesome Ghost of the Babe run to secure the sub 17!

Would've been nice to not fall in Black Sanctum and get my first all maps 0 falls run, but that wasn't the main objective here, so it's all good. Massive 73 second PB since my last run from over two years ago, mainly thanks to Ghost. Next time I run this category, I should be aiming for at least a low 16:2X, getting a cycle 0 in main babe and not falling in Black Sanctum or anywhere else in the run.

Les goooo. I thought for sure when I didnt land on the top step, that I wasnt going to be able to get the WR, but I went fast enough and a small optimisation at 2:42 (doing a full right to land further left) helped. Obviously, this isnt perfect and I didnt do one of Heppys strats because it is much harder. My best before this was a 2:48.028 so I didnt just fluke this from my 2:50.

Back in the top 10 with a banger run!
Surprisingly no mistakes on pace past Sanctum, with the early game making up for it in all sorts of embarrassing ways. Most notably trying to optimise the transition into the second last screen of Castle and miserably underjumping it like 20 times and also bonking on the ceiling with the full left after entering the first house in Underburg (many many times).
This run is exactly what I was looking for time-wise, though there are a couple of unideal moments, especially the hesitation in Sanctum and not hitting the fully optimised short jump in Blue Ruin (aiming for the top of the stairs). I can only really imagine going for a sub 5:45 before it would personally feel impossible for me to PB further, so that would be the final goal.
Now I shall be attempting something rather crazy.
