Babe of Exile, by Czar.
Quick lazy editing because I'm uploading this really late and won't be able to Jump for the next few days. There was more dialogue and another secret I found but best to explore yourself if interested in the lore, if not skip past I know there's a lot.
Such a long map but I spent a good portion of my time stuck with the krills in Krill Kingdom. Water and wind is not a good combo but the real problem is how punishing and slow the area is. I'm sure there are easier ways of doing certain jumps though. I saw the bird at the start and chased it until it found the absolute worst possible position to hide from me.
Last few areas were nice and some really cool surprises made this map fun, I played almost 9 hours today.
The map is receiving updates and balances after some feedback from players so things have changed and will change to make the map better. Not really sure how this map's gonna be speedran, really long and definitely some annoying areas to deal with when trying to go quick. Gooey Grotto has anti snake ring snow, so no cheesing that area :(

I realised that doing windowless was a much better option as it is quite feasible. I didnt do the full jump before the transition to screen 2 in chapel and used the tower pole to both save a little bit of time. There were a few spots that were noticeably slow, but at least I didnt choke as I had done many times before this run during the session (a couple times in chapel and once in ice).
The next run will have the left chapel route and hopefully have slight improvements to ice especially, to get a 4:19 or even high 4:18. From there I have to go insanely optimal or whip out FCE (fast chapel entry) to PB, or left ice I guess.

I thought surely if I could get a 6 and a half minute boots + ring time, then I could easily cut my ring time by a lot. Before this run, I got a 6:08 but knew I could do better. I knew that it was gonna be tough to beat second place as I entered the tower, but I managed to pull through and beat it by 0.2 seconds.
The WR seems incredibly tough to beat, considering you gotta the 2nd wind skip but without a consistent setup. And I lost some time in frontier causing me to lose another cycle. I would then have to save another cycle or two from other skips and have a clean endgame. But none of this is going to happen, I dont know why Im writing this.
