STILLS COLLINS: 'EVERYBODY KNOWS' is the new album recorded with long-time friend Stephen Stiils. Andy Rawll of Record Collector Magazine met Judy in London on 29th January 2018 to find out more about the making of the album, its links with the past and the possibilities for the future.

The amazingly graceful voice of Judy Collins has permeated popular music for six decades. During the past five years, the worth of her arresting voice, compositional skills and sheer artistry have risen to contemporary recognition yet again.

'Silver skies blue', her 2016 collaboration with fellow east-coast singer-songwriter Ari Hest yielded not only most accomplished album for many years but also yielded her first Grammy nomination in 40 years.

Now, in 2018, she's set to release perhaps her most personal album. 'Everybody knows' is the long-awaited consummation of the musical love affair with Stephen Stills, born of an intense but short relationship that faltered and failed before the 60s were over.

Released in the UK on 6th March 2018 on Sony Music, it's a reminder of the clarity and poise of her voice that's remarkably unsullied by age.
