Journey brought a Steve Perry lookalike on stage in Japan — twice — and Arnel Pineda stepped aside.

Hugo Valenti, a Long Island tribute singer Journey passed over in 1998, sang "Faithfully" in Fukuoka on August 30, then "Faithfully" and "Keep On Runnin'" in Tokyo on September 1 after Jonathan Cain introduced him as a special guest. Nobody in the band has explained it, and Arnel's contract means the farewell tour can't go on without him.
