John Force Racing put the rest of the Funny Car field on notice Saturday at the NHRA New England Nationals.

Jordan Vandergriff earned the first No. 1 qualifier of his Funny Car career with a 3.913-second run at 323.58 mph, leading a John Force Racing sweep of the top three positions. Alexis DeJoria and Jack Beckman completed the 1-2-3 lockout as Vandergriff continued one of the strongest rookie campaigns in the category.

Vandergriff also added a Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge victory, defeating points leader Ron Capps and giving the Cornwell Tools Chevrolet team another Saturday trophy.

In Top Fuel, Shawn Langdon secured the No. 1 qualifying position while teammate Doug Kalitta claimed the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge victory. Greg Anderson earned both the Pro Stock No. 1 qualifier and the Mission Challenge win.
