John Barnett Slaughter lies again on the witness stand, in Multnomah county court, in front of Judge Thomas Ryan.
During the July 7th, 2016 protest, where I was attacked and subsequently charged with 10 felonies for acting in self defense to ward off a violent mob, John B Slaughter testifies that there were several visible, uniformed police officers all over the place monitoring the protest and march.
That is untrue, and proven to be untrue by the copious amounts of video evidence, along with other witness statements. Portland Police assistant chief Chris Davis was the commander of central precinct at the time, and he testifies that he gave the order for there to be no visible police present at the protest.
Their lack of presence meant that I had to fend for myself when I was in danger. Had the normal police presence been there, I doubt the mob would have attacked me in the first place and the entire incident would have been avoided.
