When you work a circular project with the purl side facing (or knit for that matter), you are actually working a spiral, where the last stitch of the round is never side by side with the first stitch you had at the beginning to the round. That appears as what we call a JOG, very evident when you change colors, like on a striped hat or sock for example. To avoid the Jog, knitters came up with several ways to disguise it, mostly on the knit side of the fabric. But we, Portuguese Knitters, like to work inside out, or, with the PURL side facing us. So, in this video, lets learn
how to avoid the jog on the purl side!
