There are so many ways to cast on stitches on your needles. This one gives you a nice and thick edge at the bottom (or top) of your project that can be
continued on the sides as you work your rows. It consists in increasing one stitch every row on the first stitch of the I-cord by knitting in the front and back of the
stitch.
