As a young kid from Connecticut, Joey Logano had a path unlike any to get to the sacred NASCAR circuit. Winning legends championships in grade school and even setting records at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Getting all the praise from Mark Martin along the way. Signing a contract with Joe Gibbs Racing, he would start racing for the team as a teenager, including the 2008 Meijer 300. That would eventually lead to the NASCAR Cup Series as he would race his rookie season in 2009, at 19 years old, in Tony Stewart's car. Even starring in various Home Depot commercials as a young, unknown kid. Something unspeakable in professional auto racing especially today.
