Joao Pedro appears set to sign a new deal at Chelsea that will run initially to 2032, with an optional two further years, according to reports.
The 24 year-old Brazil striker, who had attracted interest from Spanish giants Barcelona this summer, already had an initial deal that was officially described as running to 2023, but that included a one-year option.
His new contract is reportedly on improved terms and could run to 2034.
Joao Pedro joined the Blues from Brighton in the summer of 2025 for UK£ 55 million (US$ 75m), plus UK£ 5 million (US$ 6.8m) in add-ons.
He had previously played in England at Watford, and began his professionaal career at Fluminense in his native country.
Last term Joao Pedro was Chelsea's top scorer with 20 goals in English domestic football.
He has also found the net seven times in pre-season, including a brace in Chelsea's 3-1 win over Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge on 15th August.
