The fourth edition of JLF Valladolid Spain will be held from 11th -14th June, 2026, in the cities of Valladolid and Madrid, Spain. Each year, JLF Valladolid Spain brings the energy, substance and vigour of its mother ship, the iconic Jaipur Literature Festival (15th-19th January, 2026), to Europe. The Spanish edition, that is infused with the flavour of the host region, blends literary discourse with music, historic landscapes, concerts, heritage trails and more.

With Nikita Gill, she discusses her collection, weaving environmental loss, ancestral memory, ageing and war, invoking birds as witnesses, tracing survival and the enduring force of love alongside violence. Tishani Doshi writes poetry, fiction, and essays. Her fifth poetry collection, Egrets, While War, explores the body, violence, and renewal in fractured times. A former lead dancer with the Chandralekha company in Madras, she is the author of multiple award-winning and shortlisted books and serves as a visiting professor at NYU Abu Dhabi. Nikita Gill is an Irish-Indian poet, illustrator, performer, and New York Times and Sunday Times bestselling author based in the south of England. Her work blends ancient mythology and folklore with contemporary archetypes. Her latest book and play, Hekate, is the first in a trilogy of verse novels and plays and debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list.
