This is my part for @futureheartsstudio's WORM, which I'm uploading on its own because it might only be 30 seconds long, but I spent five months working on this, and I'm genuinely super proud of how it turned out. Lena invited me to join this project to celebrate All Time Low's 20th anniversary where we created a worm covering their whole discography. I got this idea to edit Jinx/Ekko to Time Bomb when working on Char's secret Santa gift because that's when I learnt their ship name and thought it would just be funny (also the song really fits them), so I was super excited to get a chance to make it reality even though casino style nearly finished me.
Anyway, massive thank you to everyone in FHS that cheered me on while I worked on this, especially Sawyer (@RetrotikaYT). I could not have finished this without your support!

Im still emotionally recovering from this episode. I got spoiled for what was going to happen a few weeks in advance (largely because I was making this video, and I was Googling for Sasha scenes), and I spent them trying to convince myself that it wasnt true because I love Sasha so much. I didnt even know I was super attached to her and this trio in general until season 3 came out, and I suddenly realised that there were no dispensable characters anymore. I had a horrible feeling that something might happen to her or Connie (please no manga spoilers!) because they seemed like the least plot relevant characters left, but still, I was not ready for this. In a way, Im kind of glad for the spoiler so it didnt hit me out of nowhere. Im glad I started this video before the fourth season aired, and I started re-watching the series and loved every second of these three.
Anyway, I have absolutely loved this season so much! Its been amazing, and I love that they put me in a situation where one of my favourite characters is killed, but I cant even be mad at the person that killed her because Gabi is just Eren from season 1. You know exactly where shes coming from, and I love that the narrative puts you in this bind. Im so excited for where this is going. Both the season 4 things that got spoiled for me so far (Sasha and Zeke) happened in episode 8, so Im going in for the rest of this blind, and Im so excited!
Also, apologise for the audio editing. I did it myself, and it comes out slightly different when I play it on a media player in my laptop to when I upload it to Youtube, so this is actually the third or so version Ive uploaded, and Ive decided to settle for this quality. I really want to make another Sasha edit, but Ive got a Red Crackle edit thats almost done that I put aside to finish this, so I wanna get that done first, but then maybe more Sasha provided season 4 doesnt throw something new at me to distract my attention.

Wow, I cant believe that Januarys basically over already... Im really happy with how this collection turned out. I think Ive really made some improvements with my editing, particularly still image where Ive been trying to work on camera movement. I meant to get more personal projects done, but my editing energy really tailed off towards the end of this month. A lot of this is late December/early January. Im very proud of these! Lyras part took me over 100 layers!!! That two colour text was what did it for me, sooo many parent tracks! But I had a lot of fun with it and Aubreys part. The TAZ magical fire girl representation was strong in this MEP!

I had to use Jonas because this song fits him (and Dark generally) really well, like that question basically sums up my mental reaction to watching this show and trying to juggle three timelines. I really recommend the show, though, although there are tiny spoilers in my part. Then I was just really Ted Kord this month for some reason.

Small Yamaguchi and Shimada edit to Stand By You by Rachel Platten because their friendship is high-key underrated, and I am still emotional about this episode. Yamaguchi is my absolute favourite character in Haikyuu. His struggle against his anxiety just hits me on a personal level, and his character arc is well written, and the fact that Shimada is there not just teaching him volleyball but techniques on how to control his anxiety even though he has no obligation to?? Amazing.
I apologise for the editing being a little janky in places. I didnt touch Vegas for over a month due to laptop issues that ended in me having to get a new one, so I had to shake off some editing rust initially. Im fully back in the swing of things now, though, and Ive been blasting through MEP parts because I was very behind. Hopefully Ill edit some more Haikyuu as Ive been loving this half of the season and all the love that its been giving to the side characters.

I am SO happy that this year at bfls we used a song that fit characters or couples because it meant that I could finally use Roshanna. Id have been disappointed if I went the whole of pride month without editing my favourite ace character. Also, our parts were assigned a colour based on the pride flag, and man, was turquoise a weird colour to use. Pretty sure some of the shades turned into something else cause I suck at restricted colour palettes...")
