I'm still emotionally recovering from this episode. I got spoiled for what was going to happen a few weeks in advance (largely because I was making this video, and I was Googling for Sasha scenes), and I spent them trying to convince myself that it wasn't true because I love Sasha so much. I didn't even know I was super attached to her and this trio in general until season 3 came out, and I suddenly realised that there were no dispensable characters anymore. I had a horrible feeling that something might happen to her or Connie (please no manga spoilers!) because they seemed like the least plot relevant characters left, but still, I was not ready for this. In a way, I'm kind of glad for the spoiler so it didn't hit me out of nowhere. I'm glad I started this video before the fourth season aired, and I started re-watching the series and loved every second of these three.
Anyway, I have absolutely loved this season so much! It's been amazing, and I love that they put me in a situation where one of my favourite characters is killed, but I can't even be mad at the person that killed her because Gabi is just Eren from season 1. You know exactly where she's coming from, and I love that the narrative puts you in this bind. I'm so excited for where this is going. Both the season 4 things that got spoiled for me so far (Sasha and Zeke) happened in episode 8, so I'm going in for the rest of this blind, and I'm so excited!
Also, apologise for the audio editing. I did it myself, and it comes out slightly different when I play it on a media player in my laptop to when I upload it to Youtube, so this is actually the third or so version I've uploaded, and I've decided to settle for this quality. I really want to make another Sasha edit, but I've got a Red Crackle edit that's almost done that I put aside to finish this, so I wanna get that done first, but then maybe more Sasha provided season 4 doesn't throw something new at me to distract my attention.

Wow, I cant believe that Januarys basically over already... Im really happy with how this collection turned out. I think Ive really made some improvements with my editing, particularly still image where Ive been trying to work on camera movement. I meant to get more personal projects done, but my editing energy really tailed off towards the end of this month. A lot of this is late December/early January. Im very proud of these! Lyras part took me over 100 layers!!! That two colour text was what did it for me, sooo many parent tracks! But I had a lot of fun with it and Aubreys part. The TAZ magical fire girl representation was strong in this MEP!

I picked mostly random characters for this. I had to use Jonas because this song fits him (and Dark generally) really well, like that question basically sums up my mental reaction to watching this show and trying to juggle three timelines. I really recommend the show, though, although there are tiny spoilers in my part. Then I was just really Ted Kord this month for some reason.

Small Yamaguchi and Shimada edit to Stand By You by Rachel Platten because their friendship is high-key underrated, and I am still emotional about this episode. Yamaguchi is my absolute favourite character in Haikyuu. His struggle against his anxiety just hits me on a personal level, and his character arc is well written, and the fact that Shimada is there not just teaching him volleyball but techniques on how to control his anxiety even though he has no obligation to?? Amazing.
I apologise for the editing being a little janky in places. I didnt touch Vegas for over a month due to laptop issues that ended in me having to get a new one, so I had to shake off some editing rust initially. Im fully back in the swing of things now, though, and Ive been blasting through MEP parts because I was very behind. Hopefully Ill edit some more Haikyuu as Ive been loving this half of the season and all the love that its been giving to the side characters.

I continue to be weak for adoptive father-son dynamics, and we enter the BNHA portion of this collection. I picked this up as a back up and kinda had no idea what to do with this part because I like to lyric match and stuff, but I just- these lyrics are weird, so I did my best to try and create a through line.

Gotta say, I was pretty terrified editing this sort of song still image, but the MEP came out amazing, and I actually had quite a lot of fun editing these, especially the Hawks part. I have known Hawks for all of two episodes, and I already love him. Im anime only, but Ive seen some out of context manga spoilers on Instagram, and Im both excited and terrified for whats coming with his character. Also, I have never been more invested in a fan theory than the Dabi-is-a-Todoroki theory, and I want it to be true so badly.

Ive been working on this part on-off for a couple months now, glad to finally get it finished! Troia suggested we go with punk/rock/rebellious aesthetic to fit the song, so I went with a graffiti one, which I find really fun to edit with.

Im so glad that I had the time (or thought I did, back in April) to host another MHA on bfls, but my own parts were rather lackluster. I struggled for inspiration and energy. I had to last minute switch my second part from Clint to Marc just to get it done, and somehow that worked, even though Ive never read a Moon Knight comic and only have a vague understanding of the character! Im really happy with the full MEP, though, and Im glad I hosted it because mental health awareness still means so much to me.

So, basically, my list of parts to put in the dump for the end of the month was getting suuuper long so I put the parts into Vegas, and it was getting to four freaking minutes, which seemed excessively long, so I decided to break it up, so here are all the parts for meps Im hosting that have gone up/should go up this month.

These parts were so much fun, I love this song so much! I considered doing all the Champions for the first part, but in the end I decided to just do these three cause I love their bond, and the Bat Fam part was so relaxing to make and gave me warm fuzzy feelings at a stressful times.

Ahh, hosted my first mep on DVS, and it looks SO good! I also cant believe it took me this long to edit Hunter/Casey on their own, but theyre perfect for this. As are Jean and Scott, or at least, as my limited understanding of X-Men goes.
