In this installment of Jazz, Period., Al McLean and Lex French join Jim Doxas on stage at Diese Onze. The tune is Monk's "Let's Cool One", and features solos by each of the quintet.

Some historical vintage equipment is in use here, French playing into a 1930's RCA MI-4010 ribbon microphone, and McLean playing a vintage Selmer Mark VI sax into a fine German tube mic, the Microtech Gefell UM92.1S.
