In this talk, Elizabeth Offer from the Jewish Museum of Australia goes beyond the narratives of men, gold, and rebellion on the goldfields, to find the hidden histories of Jewish women in Colonial Ballarat. Elizabeth Offer is the Collections Officer at the Jewish Museum of Australia. She recently completed a Doctor of Philosophy in history at La Trobe University, Victoria.
Talking History is a forum for the sharing of research into the history of the Ballarat region, with a special focus on the colonial period.
