"Jeopardy" released in 1983 by The Greg Kihn Band as a track on their album Kihnspiracy, is the band's first and only Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, reaching #2 and also hitting #1 on the dance charts. As an uninspired youth at the age of 12, Kihn's life changed when he became infatuated with the Beatles when they arrived in the U.S. His hair style is a testament to that. Although Kihn's music career began to emerge as a singer/songwriter in his hometown Baltimore, MD., he moved to San Francisco in 1972. There at the age of 17, his mother submitted a demo of one of his original songs to a radio station (WCAO) talent contest and he took 1st prize winning three things that would change his life: a typewriter, a stack of records, and a Vox electric guitar.
