Sister Gry Nygård took her local congregation to court, claiming her disfellowshipping was invalid.
was disfellowshipped despite the elders believing her when she said she was raped. So she took the congregation to court and the court ruled that the disfellowshipping was invalid.

Now she might be reinstated as a Jehovah Witness by a court order!

I personally belive that the Watchtower organisation will take this to the supreme court, because they do not like anyone to tell them what to do.

Gry Hellene Mollan Nygård was represented by Håkon Mathias Sterling Danielsen as her lawyer. We will try to contact Sterling Danielsen and ask if he wants to be an honorary Apostate or be interviewed on this channel.

This is clearly a interesting case involving freedom of religion that might have great impact on future cases.
