Watch a full tutorial as a 2021 Jeep Gladiator / Wrangler will have new Alpine 6.5" Type R component speakers installed. These new components will be added to an in the factory lower and upper dash locations for a big upgrade in audio quality.
This video applies to Jeep Wrangler models for years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 & Gladiator models for years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. This video also includes dash disassembly and speaker removal, complete installation, wiring, and testing.
NOTE: Our Jeep was equipped with the upgraded Alpine audio sound system. If you have the factory amplifier and are planning on keeping the OEM amp, you will need 2 ohm speakers in the pods and 4 ohm speakers in the upper dash to prevent a drop in volume and quality which we can recommend below.
