Hey everyone, here's a cover of the Sonny Curtis song "I Fought The Law", based on the Clash version from 1979. I got @joeylizziomusic02 to join on drums for this one as the original Clash version has double tracked drums. Instead of overdubbing a second layer of drums after the main one, I decided it would be fun to try and record two kits at the same time in the same room (earlier King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard style. I brought my kit into the studio which was nearly completely the opposite of the kit Joey played -- Yamaha vs Pearl (but both birch) kits, single headed toms/kick vs double headed, different snare depths, Paiste cymbals vs Zildjian cymbals. It was a fun day.
